Front End Developer - Inside IR35 (Umbrella) FX Trading - ReactJS - Redux - Typescript - REST - node.js - redux-saga - Java - Spring boot Based in London a Front End Developer is required on a 6 month contract basis to work for a major Banking client. The rate is paying £500 to £619 per day and you have to operate via an umbrella company. This is an great opportunity to join a leading edge and exciting programme of work. You'll be required to join the sales & trading lab in the trade flow simplification team. You will be involved with two projects: 1. Continue the development on my clients in-house application used the FX trading and sales for managing their sales-trader workflows and handling dealer interventions. 2. Design and implement front office trade repository that is used by sales and trading to support internal trade message flows to facilitate STP, simpler workflows, improved real-time risk and additional trading MI. Overview of the Front End Developer Solve unique and complex problems with impact to Capital Markets Value Stream of Commercial Banking Work with product owners, UX and other business partners Design, implement, test and maintain micro services Participate in planning sessions with product owners, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements and outline the proposed business solution Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations Provide input to information/data flow and understand and comply with architectural standards in all phases. Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined Definition of Done and design specification Identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues Ensure quality and completeness of the product through unit tests, integration tests, BDD tests and maintenance as appropriate.Essential Skills and Experience A proven Front Developer with an extensive Banking background. Strong understanding of ReactJS and Redux Experience with other frameworks and UI technologies beneficial Experience with Typescript essential Must be familiar with both REST and websocket integration Must be familiar with use of node.js and webpack Experience of micro service applications, API gateways and Zuul/spring gateway Understanding of redux-saga would be advantage Backend experience - Strong understanding of Java and Spring boot (highly beneficial) Experience with working Capital Markets Front Office technology is preferred, in particular with knowledge of the FX domainIf you would like to be considered for this role please don't hesitate to click apply or call Daniel McShane for more information.
