Commercial Manager - NEC forms of contract, Location: - London Salary: - £40k to £50k basic + Holidays + Bonus Start date: - ASAP Role Description This position needs a Commercial Manager that can join an existing Commercial Team, leading the contractual management directly for the client. Managing the main contractor delivering projects on both a framework basis and individually procured. This role is more about having a good understanding of the NEC form of contract than team leadership. Managing the stakeholders both internally and external ensuring the work is carried out accordance with the KPI's set out in the contract. Your role is to manage the day to day commercial aspects of the contract in place, conduct regular reviews with the internal project teams and give regular reports on the costings. Identifying potential issues with delivery or a breach of contract that resorts in an increased cost. All based around NEC principals you will need to have a NEC or Bespoke NEC contractual experience. This would be ideal for someone who has worked or supplied contracts in to: - TFL - Transport for London DFT - Department for Transport Network Rail Train Operators Utility providers - Water / Power / GasThis role is based in Basingstoke but until further notice working remotely from home. Able to review contracts, create reports, manage cost changes and speak with the main contractor over contractual changes. Ultimately managing the contract from any changes that may happen, keeping on top of any changes or cost implications and ensuring the KPI's are being achieved. Qualifications / Experience A form of qualification be it HNC / HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related subject.
