HGV Class 2 Driver, Rainham

One of our clients have a permanent full-time vacancy for HGV Cylinder Driver at their depot in Rainham. In return, they offer a competitive salary, premium payments for weekends, 33 days holiday pro rata, death in service benefit. They are one of the largest LPG suppliers in the UK and have over 30 year's experience providing alternative energy solutions to domestic and commercial customers. The HGV Cylinder Driver will be responsible for delivering Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Tanker to domestic and commercial customers in and around the Southampton area. The role will include weekend working as part of a rostered shift pattern, on a minimum contract of 45hrs per week Key responsibilities of the role will include: Carrying out relevant daily vehicle checks and reporting defects as per Operational Procedures Completing all necessary paperwork ensuring accuracy standard is maintained Meet driver performance standards Loading the vehicle on site in accordance with site procedures Metered deliveries at customer premises in accordance with customer and site procedures To work alone and have computer skills to fulfil their dutiesThe successful Driver must hold a current: Hold a cat C (HGV Class 2) licence Possess an ADR in Packages with minimum class 2 gasses (Tanks advantageous) Driver qualification card (DCPC)The successful Driver must: Be committed to provide excellent customer service Be reliable, flexible and hard working Be honest and trustworthyThe hours of work are 45 per week with overtime available.
