POSITION                                        Cable Splicer REPORTING TO                              Site Agent LOCATION                                      Nationwide Our client is one of the hottest Main Contractors in the Telecoms, Infrastructure and Power sectors.  On the back of a massive framework win, we have been asked to supply Cable Splicers for projects across the UK.  Reporting into an Operations Manager and Site Agents, you will be required to perform excavations, repairs and reinstatements, installation of ducting, chambers and street cabinets and the installation of cable on telecoms infrastructure located within both public highways and consumer premises.  Working on the OPENREACH Contract you will follow up to date client standard operating procedures and must work in full compliance with current legislation, health and safety requirements and company policies. Cable Splicer Roles & Responsibilities:  Providing new installation of duct, chambers, cabinets & associated equipment. Clearing blockages in the highway and reinstating to industry standard ensuring all information / pictures are captured on company supplied assets Competent use of Stihl Saws. Good paperwork skills ? managing job sheets / risk assessments / plant sheets / driver checks. Experience of risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on health and safety requirements and responsibilities. Responsible for the company assets and plant assigned to you for the purpose of performing your duties. Communicating effectively with colleagues and clients. Ensuring compliance with all current client processes and procedures Cable Splicer Experience required: Previous OPENREACH project experience ? desirable. CSCS and NRSWA certs. Drivers licence. Cable Splicer Salary & Package £28k Salary + Excellent Bonus Scheme (up to £15k) + Company Vehicle + Pension.
