Senior Prac- Hospital Social Worker, East London

My client in East London as an urgent requirement for a Senior Practitioner to join there hospital team. Suitable candidates MUST have worked at this level before within a hospital setting. They will also have experience of staff management too. This role will involve:? Reviewing and completing Care Act assessments ensuring they are in line with the act for adults with holistic care needs, including adults with mental health care needs and physical/ learning disabilities. Making best interest decisions and ensuring deprivation of liberty safeguards is appropriately applied, supporting staff with the legislative frameworks. Leading safeguarding investigations and supporting staff to complete robust safeguarding inquiries. ? Managing the team duty system. Responding to emergencies and failed discharges, quickly implementing strategies and care to ensure the safety of people using the service.
