Junior PHP Developer, Wilmslow

Avanti Recruitment is currently partnering with an innovative software company based in Wilmslow who build assessment software for special education needs and disabled children. They are looking to recruit a Junior PHP Developer to help build their core platform and Greenfield web applications using PHP (Laravel/CodeIgniter) and NodeJS. In this role you will be partnered with a Lead Developer who will mentor you and teach new technologies and ways of working. As you progress you will have a big influence over what tech you should be using moving forward and you will have a chance to work directly with the CTO to design and develop web software / web applications as well as collaborating with a team of developers. The roles offers excellent exposure to modern technologies as they have recently introduced Node.js into their stack. They also host all their apps using AWS! Essential skills; * PHP * Laravel or CodeIgniter OR Symfony exposure * JavaScript * HTML * CSS Desirable skills; * AWS They are offering a salary up to £31,000 + flexible working hours, 25 days holiday, pension and private healthcare. In regards to remote working, during COVID-19 their development team have been working remotely and will remain working from home for the rest of the year.
