Our people care, dare and collaborate to ensure we achieve this People Powered Living. This role Technical Lead for all Security / Cyber Security activity for the Infrastructure Team. Work alongside the Information Security Manager and Cyber Security Analyst to deliver a secure and robust environment helping to meet our compliance requirements. Responsible for the management, implementation, maintenance, configuration of technical security systems, aligned to IT strategy and security standards. Take responsibility for the technical security sign off for all Technology projects. Ensure existing processes are updated to reflect current compliance requirements and create such processes where they don?t yet exist. Take part in the CAB and TDA processes to ensure security standards are maintained. Play an active role in any security related incidents experienced by the business providing the appropriate input into any resolution / investigation. Take ownership of the regular penetration tests required by the Infrastructure Team and any remediation that follows. Manage relationships with Security vendors to make sure contracts are being delivered on and we are achieving value for money. Produce regular reports on a Dashboard to highlight the current status of the Infrastructure security. E.g. Patch deployment, Anti-Virus / Malware Status, Encryption status. Keep up to date with emerging threats, provide input to the Senior Leadership Team where it may impact the business. Ensure both on premise and cloud environments meet agreed security standards. Assist the Service Desk in the containment of any potential threats and provide advice on whether certain links, files and processes are malicious or safe. Take responsibility for access management processes for Infrastructure systems to ensure only authorised staff have access to systems. Take ownership for managing the security logging and monitoring systems. What you'll need to succeed Recent hands-on technical experience in a role as a Technician/Engineer or similar. 10+ Years? experience working in a Senior Infrastructure Engineer focused role. 5+ Years? experience in a Security focus role in a Medium/Large organisation. Certified in CISSM, CISSP. CEH (Desirable) CCNA or equivalent certified. Expired certifications are acceptable. Microsoft Server Certified. MCSA 2012 and above. Strong background in coding / scripting. Strong knowledge of Information Security and related processes. Experience in getting previous places of work to a recognised industry standard for Security. Be able to demonstrate an awareness across infrastructure disciplines, e.g. Office 365, Networking, Servers, Datacentre / storage area networks. Excellent written and verbal communications. Able to prepare and present complex subjects using statistical data and formal reports, presentations, diagrams and other approaches where appropriate. Come from a technical engineering background and be able to understand technical Infrastructure terminology / models without difficulty. Be able to work in a wider team and develop medium to long term strategies to meet our compliance requirements. Stay on top of technological changes outside of work and bring in ideas and innovation to the rest of the team.
