Cybersecurity Engineer, London

Join one of the fastest-growing FinTech companies in the UK as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer where you?ll be a focal point for cybersecurity across the business. You?ll work closely with the CTO, Co-Founder, and Engineers as you look to secure their platform and ensure any security incidents are dealt with efficiently. What you?ll be doing as the Senior Cybersecurity Engineer: * Get heavily involved in the implementation of a number of networks, infrastructure, and even cloud security controls as you look to ensure the business is secure. * Look to drive improvements with the business's security posture whilst leading investigations to ensure security incidents are remediated. * Take a deep dive into automation to ensure the security function is continuously developing * Begin the utilise a number of differing security frameworks to guarantee the business is best equipped to defend against cybersecurity attacks. * Gain the opportunity to get involved in threat modeling and threat intelligence exercises with a focus on threat actors. * Be the focal point for security across the business as you work closely with Engineers, the CTO and Co-Founder. What you?ll need to be a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer: * 3+ years' experience within cybersecurity, with experience within the engineering space * Experience within software development and scripting languages e.g. Python, Java, JavaScript, NodeJS * Knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols, network analysis & network/security applications * Understanding of common AppSec controls, such as CSP, SRI etc. * Technical understanding of AWS and other cloud platforms e.g. Azure, GCP If you?re interested, please click the apply button below and reach out to Ryan Kirwan on LinkedIn
