JOB DESCRIPTION: Product Manager: Responsible for planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle. Establishing the marketing mix: * Product - Quality, features, brand names, differentiation, packaging, services and warranties. * Promotion - Publicity, advertising, PR, sales promotion, exhibitions, mail shots, seminars and sponsorship. * Place - Distribution channels, route to market, coverage, location, transport. * Price - List prices, discounts and special promotions. Carrying out initial market research to justify investment, liaison with product development to finalised design, and marketing plan to achieve targeted sales. Analysing and monitoring the various markets that the company is involved in and the performance of the company?s product within the market, benchmarked against major competitors. Assisting in the maintenance and analysis of competition files and report to management on personnel, products, performance, strengths and weaknesses.
