Aids and adaptations surveyor, autocad Your new company This public sector organisation is looking for an Aids and Adaptations Surveyor to join their team to help clear a backlog of cases whilst also helping to deliver new cases which are now high priority. The organisation is resuming normal operations after a period of lockdown. The job will involve site inspections; however, all report writing / design work will be from home. Full PPE's will be provided and governmental guidelines on social distancing will be strictly enforced. The organisation is based in North London and all inspections will be in and around their main offices. Your new role You will carry out site inspections in residential properties and project manage works which will make the properties more accessible for residents with specific needs and requirements. As part of the job you will also liaise with Occupational Therapists (OT'S) to ensure the best possible solution is found for the tenants or residents. Types of works will include wet rooms / level access showers / grab rails in residential properties amongst other adaption works. What you'll need to succeed As the successful candidate it is essential that you have experience of working as an Adaptations Surveyor, unfortunately if you do have this specific experience you will not be considered for the job. Autocad experience will be beneficial but not an essential requirement of the job. What you'll get in return Flexible working options available.
