The ideal candidate would need extensive post qualifying experience, which would allow you to join the local authority and hit the ground running. The local authority is dedicated to maintaining continually low caseloads per social worker by ensuring that they have a steady stream of experienced social workers across the services. Ideally you would need experience in a Children with Disabilities team, however experience with children in need and child protection may also be considered. You would need a full driving license and have a vehicle.
