IT Technology Adoption Lead *£(Apply online only) per day* *Local Government* * Ongoing Contract* A Local Council are currently looking for an IT Technology Adoption Lead to promote the use of various new systems and agile working tech across the council. The role: Role Purpose The IT Technology Adoption Lead will * Lead on the establishment of a network of Technology Champions who will help promote and drive the adoption of these new technologies, appropriate to local requirements * Demonstrably improve organisational efficiency and user satisfaction by enabling staff to use technology to automate routine tasks and work in more flexible and agile manner * Track and report on IT literacy levels and technology adoption on a
service-by-service basis, and insight into usage levels for different types of user * Act as a Change Leader across the Council, driving awareness and understanding of IT changes, approaches and tools at all levels. * Have a clear focus on reducing and the complexity of users experience of technical processes, act as a voice of the customer within the IT service * Actively contribute to Council-wide and directorate initiatives by assessing the impact that will achieve and implement business priorities and corporate objectives to meet the needs of
Harrow?s citizens and businesses. * Support the development and communication of technical adoption and business improvement principles, guidelines and best practice to build expertise and optimise service delivery. * Design digital transformation and adoption projects that are unique, sophisticated and structured. * Lead the production of business analytics including performance and productivity baselines, demands analysis, impact and feasibility analysis, scenario modelling, cost modelling and benefits tracking. * Manage adoption projects from start to finish and produce metrics to demonstrate success * Maintain pipeline of technology adoption initiatives * Support multiple platforms including desktops, laptops, mobile devices and video conferencing equipment. * Deliver new ways of working which are efficient, effective and customer focused. Experience, qualification, Knowledge An understanding of Agile and Government Digital Standards A solid track record of delivering performance improvements, efficiencies and enhanced user experience. A solid understanding of operational excellence and how to ensure new ways of working are successfully implemented and embedded. Experience of working within a regulatory or similarly complex environment. Experience of managing in an operational/transactional environment.
