Principal Lawyer - Enforcement, Greater London

Carrington West are assisting their local authority client based in London in their search for a Principal Lawyer - Enforcement on an initial 3 month contract.   You will lead a small team of lawyers dealing with a variety of enforcement matters, including some high profile cases. You will be able to demonstrate recent and significant local authority experience of providing advice and conducting litigation across a range of regulatory functions including but not limited to crime and anti-social behaviour, environmental health, licensing, and enforcement under the Housing Act 2004. You will also have recent experience of conducting advocacy, advising at Licensing Committee and providing legal comments on committee reports relating to enforcement matters.
