Position: Podcast Host

Full time, 12-month renewable contract

CGTN Radio is a part of China Global Television Network. We break news and tell stories that matter to our target audience with a focus on China, from both inside and outside the country. Our products include the news program "The Beijing Hour", and a range of podcasts such as "Takeaway Chinese," which help students tackle one of the world's toughest languages. We also reach millions of people through our website and social media channels.

• Host news programs on air and do live interviews.
• Sit in for hosts of other radio programs and take part in our promotional events.
• Write and edit news for both radio broadcast and our website.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

• A Bachelor's degree or above.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• At least two years of media work experience.
• Good news writing and editing skills.
• Excellent presenting skills.
• Intimate knowledge of current affairs, particularly as pertaining to China.
• The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Flexibility and ability to work during irregular hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Team spirit and be open-minded.
