Social Media and Events Manager, London

Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Manage daily content creation, scheduling, and posting to ensure consistent and compelling messaging.
• Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and interactions; respond promptly to foster community engagement.
• Organise and coordinate a variety of events including workshops, seminars, promotional activities, and community outreach programmes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to plan event themes, logistics, marketing materials, and promotional campaigns.
• Cultivate relationships with media outlets, partners, and influencers to enhance public relations efforts.
• Analyse social media metrics and event feedback to assess effectiveness and inform future strategies.
• Ensure all activities align with organisational branding guidelines and communication policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in social media management with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful campaigns.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong public relations skills with experience in building positive relationships with media outlets and community stakeholders.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas tailored to target audiences.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in British English.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive attitude with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Pay: £24,420.00-£35,000.00 per year
