What you will do:

Receive and screen safeguarding referrals from professionals and the public.

Undertake initial risk assessments and make vital decision-making in line with established thresholds.

Gather and analyse pertinent information from partner agencies within theMASH.

Identify safeguarding concerns and determine appropriate next steps for cases.

Progress cases efficiently to relevant teams such asAssessment,Child Protection, orEarly Help.

Actively participate in strategy discussions and multi-agency meetings.

Person specification:

Qualifications:
Must possess a Degree or equivalent qualification inSocial Work.

Registration&Compliance:
Registered withSocial Work England.
EnhancedDBSrequired.
Right to Work in theUKis essential.

Key Skills:
Strong safeguarding and risk assessment skills, with a clear understanding ofMASH processesandreferral pathways.
Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced front-door environment.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage cases adeptly.
Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multi-agency setting.

Experience:
Post-qualification experience inChildren's Social Care, particularly withinMASHor similarIntake,Duty, orAssessment teams.
Experience managing safeguarding referrals and triage processes.
Experience in multi-agency partnership working is preferred.
