With a generous pay rate of£32.00 per hour and full-time work at 36 hours weekly, this locum position promises to be both rewarding and flexible-with ongoing assignment duration. Please note that standard working hours are organised over five days from Monday to Friday, and condensed hours are not available for this role.

What you will do:

• Conduct assessments and create care plans for vulnerable adults, focusing on individual needs and circumstances.
• Lead safeguarding investigations as an Enquiry Officer to ensure the protection and welfare of clients.
• Manage Continuing Healthcare (CHC) assessments, oversee DST checklists, and facilitate MDT meetings while navigating any related disputes.
• Handle complex and high-risk cases, providing comprehensive support and bespoke solutions to adult clients.
• Prepare reports and statements for Court of Protection cases, maintaining accurate and detailed case documentation.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• At least 2 years of post-qualifying Social Work experience, particularly with vulnerable adults in a local authority setting.
• Proven experience in safeguarding investigations and managing high-risk, complex cases.
• Familiarity with CHC processes, MDT meetings, and dispute management.
• Must be a car driver with a valid licence.
