What you’ll be doing

• Drive any vehicle supplied by Veolia, having received the relevant training.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete defect books.
• Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and report defects to Supervisor or Manager immediately.
• Ensure loads are safe and secure using sheeting, fall‑arrest systems.
• Report accidents or incidents to Supervisor or Manager and complete accident/incident report.
• Adhere to all road traffic rules, regulations and parking restrictions.
• Assist with other duties as directed after completing driving duties.
• Submit tachograph uploads per company policy.

What we’re looking for Essential

• Class 1 licence.
• Class C & E licence.
• Time management skills.
• Ability to work in a team or alone.

Desirable

• Previous waste industry experience.
