Head Chef, London

Greensleeves Care is looking for a Head Chef to manage kitchen operations in our 24‑hour residential, dementia and nursing care homes across England.

• Draw up varied menus that incorporate choice, are balanced and meet special diet requirements (low‑fat, diabetic, religious or other).
• Cater for special occasions within the home.
• Control stocks and purchases, allocating quantities of materials.
• Keep purchases within allocated budgets.
• Ensure all kitchen hygiene and safety rules are observed by all colleagues.

• Relevant food hygiene and food preparation qualifications.
• Understanding of the importance of food for residents and of a balanced, varied diet.
• Experience of serving food in a professional environment.
• Provide evidence of ISA first and enhanced DBS disclosure; this post is not subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
