Driver/Labouer, London

Our nationwide Trenching and Shoring division hires a range of equipment across the construction, utilities, and infrastructure industries, including trench boxes, chain slings, manhole lifters, ladders, lifting pins, manhole chain clamps, and counterbalanced davit systems.

The Driver Labourer is responsible for:

• Keeping the workshop and yard areas clean, tidy, and free of hazards and storing tools properly.
• Ensuring plant equipment leaving the depot is pressure‑cleaned, refuelled, ready for customers, and that fuel logs are updated accurately.
• Loading, delivering, and collecting hire equipment to and from customer sites in a timely and professional manner.
• Carrying out hire equipment demonstrations on customer sites and completing all relevant checks and administration accurately.

• Significant experience delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced depot environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Understanding of health and safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace.
• Full driving licence is essential.
