Senior Surveyor – Asset & Property Management | Central London | Up to £55,000 + Bonus

Madison Berkeley are partnered with a highly regarded commercial real estate advisory business on the appointment of a Senior Surveyor within their Asset & Property Management team based in Central London.

This position offers a genuine blend of property management, asset management and landlord & tenant work across a high quality mixed commercial portfolio comprising office, industrial and retail assets on behalf of major institutional clients.

Unlike a traditional property management role, this opportunity provides significant exposure to asset management initiatives, lease advisory matters and wider commercial decision making across the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Management of a mixed commercial portfolio across office, retail and industrial assets
• Delivery of landlord & tenant matters including lease renewals, rent reviews, regears and break negotiations
• Deliver asset management initiatives focused on value enhancement, income growth and occupier strategy
• Oversight of service charge budgets, expenditure control and operational performance
• Direct client liaison with institutional ownership structures
• Preparation of portfolio reporting and performance analysis
• Management of external suppliers, consultants and managing agents
• Collaboration with internal lease advisory, valuation and building consultancy teams

Requirements

• Commercial property management experience within a consultancy or client side environment
• Strong landlord & tenant knowledge and experience handling lease events
• Exposure to asset management initiatives or value add projects would be advantageous
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities across a varied commercial portfolio
• MRICS preferred but not essential
