The COO will be responsible for building the operating infrastructure the business needs to scale sustainably, putting structure and repeatable processes in place across all functions, creating a single source of truth for data and metrics, and ensuring the organisation follows through properly on the things that matter most.

You will be involved in:

• Designing and embedding repeatable processes across all functions where informal ways of working currently exist
• Creating a single source of truth for data and metrics so decisions are made with clarity
• Driving rigorous follow-through across the business so initiatives land properly and do not stall
• Prioritising ruthlessly to protect organisational focus and prevent scope creep
• Coaching and developing team members as the business builds out its management layer
• Working directly with the founders to shape how the business operates and scales

• You will have genuine authority and the expectation to push back when required, this is a counterpart role, not an executor role
• You will have the opportunity to help scale a high performing business and have a long term impact
• Prior exposure to founder-led businesses is a plus, but what matters most is the scaling track record and the ability to operate with pace and discipline in a high-growth environment

This opportunity would suit someone who has scaled a business through the 20 to 100 people journey at least once, and has the interpersonal credibility and operational discipline to lead from the front. A background in finance, operations, or commercial functions is preferred. CFOs who have demonstrably performed a COO remit in practice are equally in scope.
