You are walking into a blank canvas and owning it completely.

This is a newly scoped role inside a fast-growing hedge fund that is serious about data. The fund is technology and data driven at its core, and the investment in building out the data function reflects that. You are not stepping into someone else's blueprint. You are drawing your own.

Your focus is twofold. You are taking full ownership of data governance across the business, building the frameworks, standards, and practices that will define how data is managed long term. Alongside that, you are shaping the data architecture strategy, making decisions that will influence the direction of the function for years to come.

This is hybrid, so you get the environment and energy of being in the office with the flexibility to work from home too.

The fund is growing quickly and technology is right at the heart of that growth. You are joining at the right moment, when the decisions you make will actually matter and the work you do will be visible at every level of the business.

To do this well, you bring solid hands‑on experience in data governance and data architecture. You know how to build structure where there is none, and you are comfortable operating with autonomy and making calls without needing a template to follow.
