Gigalight Ltd is a successful fibre installation / telecomms company.

Due to increased long term workload we’re looking for someone to join our team who can….

• Install fibre into customer premises, business and residential, including splicing
• Assist the support team with troubleshooting techniques and queries
• Liaise by phone with the project office team to organise pre-installations, installations and arrange service calls

The right person will…

• Have fibre installation/splicing skills and experience
• Have a good understanding of fibre terminology and be able to communicate this effectively to customers as well as colleagues within the business
• Be proactive, efficient, and courteous for customers
• Have the willingness to work in all climates
• Use and basic maintenance of a works tablet, fibre splicing machine, power meter, fibre identifier
• Must be a team player

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Must have
SA001, SA002,K8/S7, N27/S8 or equivalent

• NRSWA unit 2
• Splicing and testing
• SMART AWARDS
• PIA experience desirable but not essential
• Previous experience working at height from a ladder and cabling from up to 11m telegraph poles
• Experience in lone working and health and safety requirements that are specific to working at height
• Practical experience in a customer-facing role
• Have a current driving license
• Clear DBS

Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
