SEN Learning Support Assistant, Loughborough

ABC Teachers, part of TES, are seeking an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to work in an SEN school near Loughborough on a part time flexible basis from September. About the role: Supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities including moderate learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties, visual and hearing impairments and physical disabilities. SEN Learning Support Assistant under the instruction of a class teacher. Supporting small class sizes of students of varying ages, from 11 to 19. Working on a part time flexible basis starting in September. About the school: The school caters for secondary aged students with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities, including students on the autism spectrum. Easily accessible from Loughborough, Leicester, Ashby-de-la-Zouch and surrounding areas of the East Midlands. A well-established school, set in fantastic grounds with a wide range of facilities. A strong leadership team with the aim to support students in reaching their full potential. About you: Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly built rapport with students. Suitable qualifications to support students with SEND are desirable. Have previous experience working with children and young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities.
