Specialist Behaviour Mentor l Primary Behaviour Support l North Leicestershire Sept 2020 - Dec 2020 with veiw to extend - full time (School hours) Celsian Education is looking for Specialist Behaviour Mentor to work in mainstream Primary School in Leicester. Due to increased numbers of pupil exclusions on a national basis, schools are now requiring more Behaviour Mentors to support pupils with additional behavioural needs. Are you passionate about helping support behaviour to raise attainment for young people? Would you like to positively influence young peoples lives? The role of a Behaviour Mentor will require you to work on one a one-to-one basis with pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). You will promote positive behaviour and ensure the young person has access to learning, whilst also being involved in raising attainment for the pupil. This position is specifically for a candidate who has experience dealing with pupils, either in a mainstream or SEND setting, who have additional needs that lead to challenging behaviour.
