We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Marine Services as a Garden Operative.

The role of Garden Operative will undertake day‑to‑day activities around the Caravan and Camping site service, including general maintenance works and grounds works. In addition, the role requires providing efficient and professional customer service to customers using the facilities.

The role requires 7-day cover. Hours are changeable over the year to meet seasonal demands. Working hours per week are variable with an average weekly workload of 30 hours, which forms the basis of the regular salary. Greater hours are anticipated May–September and lesser hours October–April; bank holiday working will also apply.

You will have previous experience in DIY/maintenance works and in using a range of grounds machinery and plant equipment. Being a good team player is essential, with a positive, flexible approach and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
