We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Regulatory Compliance Team as a Housing Dispute Resolution Manager.
Your role:
The successful candidate will lead and manage the strategic and operational response to housing disrepair complaints, Health and Housing Safety Rating System (HHSRS) hazards, and condition-related disputes, with a particular focus on damp and mould. This role ensures timely, legally compliant resolution of complaints and disrepair cases, in line with housing legislation, the Housing Ombudsman's Complaint Handling Code, and new legal requirements such as Awaab's Law.
What you will need:
The successful candidate will have experience of managing staff, teams or multidisciplinary working groups in a social housing setting and have depth knowledge of disrepair law, HHRSR, and related housing condition standards. The post holder will have experience responding to or managing legal disrepair claims and complaints within a social housing setting.
