Senior Practitioner - MASH Team, Luton

Connect2Socialwork are looking for a Senior Practitioner to work in a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team on behalf on Luton Borough Council. Job role entails: Receive and handling all initial Children Social Care contacts and queries via telephone and written methods. To prioritise the most vulnerable and at risk individuals and recommend appropriate advice and action. You must have at least 3 years' experience of working in a similar role (Front Door, MASH, Initial Response etc)This post pays up to £35ph. Useful information about Luton: Flexible / Home working is in place and likely to remain so for the foreseeable future. Equipment is provided, Laptop and phone where necessary. Most visits / meetings are carried out on Skype and What's App. Luton is a diverse town and is often compared to London, which offers social workers a great opportunity to gain more experience. They are opening their own academy in October which will offer NQSW the opportunity to join them. They have a great support / training program in place. They will consider Non Drivers.
