Sommelier, Brockenhurst

We are recruiting for a Sommelier at Rhinefield House Hotel and Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

Rhinefield House is an award‑winning luxury hotel located in the New Forest National Park. It boasts a 2 AA Rosette fine dining restaurant and bar, with a curated wine list that includes our own vineyard.

• You will be the ultimate hospitality professional able to make each and every guest feel special and encourage and motivate a team to do the same.
• Your knowledge of wine will inspire others and you will enjoy sharing your knowledge through regular training and development.
• As the Sommelier, you will be responsible for delivering world‑class wine service across the hotel.
• Working with a wonderfully curated wine list, you will use your passion to help drive wine sales, educate the team and impart your knowledge to our guests.
• You will ensure that all glassware is sparkling and correct, and will liaise with the Head of Wine to keep our wine list up to date, relevant and exciting.
• You will lead and host regular wine tastings, driving the success of these events with your outstanding knowledge.
• You will be educated up to WSET level 3, and have significant experience in a similar luxury hotel environment.

• A competitive salary package of £35,000 per year, plus a share of service charge.
• Full‑time role working 5 days out of 7, including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week (may vary with business needs).
