JOB TITLE: Legal Executive : Probate

LOCATION: Berkshire (Hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days from home)

SALARY: GBP 35K - GBP 60K (DOE)

• Managing a varied caseload of probate and estate administration matters from instruction through to distribution.
• Providing expert legal advice on probate, inheritance tax and private client matters.
• Drafting and reviewing legal documents including IHT forms, grant applications and estate accounts.
• Ensuring compliance with probate law, SRA regulations and internal governance standards.
• Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues and paralegals.

• Legal Counsel / Legal Executive / Lawyer with a minimum of one year's experience in probate or private client law.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited by the future of legal services.
• Confident communicator who can support clients through emotionally sensitive situations with empathy and clarity.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end probate and estate administration cases.
• Ability to handle complex or high-value estates with minimal supervision.
• A collaborative team player who contributes to a positive team culture.
