Maintenance Operative, Snodland

Maintenance Operative - I am currently looking for a maintenance operative to join one of the UK's largest and fastest-growing maintenance team, working for one of the most reputable supermarket chains in the UK. The work for the maintenance operative will be in a distribution centre in Snodlands, Kent. The role will include working on the general maintenance of the building including basic elements of plumbing, carpentry work, electrical work and painting / decorating. As a basic hourly rate the maintenance operative will be paid £12.23 PAYE, meaning you will also be free to take paid holiday once it is accrued. The length of this contract is not entirely known but it will be on an ongoing basis with a lot of contractors eventually getting taken on permanently if suitable. Thmere may also be planned maintenance throughout the distribution centre to complete. You must have a good understanding of maintenance within a large commercial building and a general knowhow and understanding of trade work.
