Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week

Full time Salary Range: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35*

Contract: 10 Month Fixed-term contract

• Provide unwavering support to service users from their initial contact with our service through to the end of their treatment and recovery journey.
• Screen, assess, and develop recovery plans, and arrange onward referrals.
• Implement tailored interventions aimed at reducing the harm caused by opiate use, through group sessions or one‑on‑one engagement.
• Ensure service users receive comprehensive, recovery‑focused plans, including pre‑detox preparation and post‑care support.
• Collaborate with other organisations and the community to enhance recovery resources available to service users, referring them to mutual‑aid groups and other networks.
• Advocate for the involvement of family members, service users, and the community.
• Serve as a voice for service users in accessing partnership services.
• Work closely with service users to facilitate their social (re)integration, enabling them to lead fulfilling and purpose‑driven lives. This includes promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self‑determination.

• Excellent understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficient IT skills.
• Demonstrate proactive qualities, working independently with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
• Strong understanding of mental health interventions, services, and best practices.
• Supportive team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with a diverse range of professionals, agencies, and stakeholders.
• Ability to navigate change effectively, always prioritising the needs of service users.
• Recognise the significance of information governance processes and commit to adhering to all necessary safeguards.
• Commit to continuous learning opportunities to enhance professional knowledge and skills, while contributing to the growth of colleagues.
