Vault Operative, Maidstone

Our Maidstone branch is seeking Warehouse Operatives (known internally as Vault Operatives) to support our drivers in loading and distribution of cash throughout our branch network.

Hours: 40 hours per week

Pay: £14.06 per hour, rising to £15.06 per hour after probation, plus London allowance of £1725 per annum

Shifts: Rotating - mids (14:00 - 22:00) and nights (22:00 - 06:00). Weekends 06:00 - 18:00 and 18:00 - 06:00

As a Vault Operative, you will assist the management team in the day‑to‑day operation of the branch, including supporting with a fleet of high spec security armoured vehicles.

Reporting to the shift manager, you will be responsible for collating deliveries and collections as well as the safe loading and unloading of customers' money.

You will provide an effective communication chain between branch management and road crew, as well as liaising and communicating with customers on day‑to‑day service and operational requirements.

Compliance with all vault and dispatch procedures and systems in accordance with company standards is vital for this role along with the ability to monitor the standard of documentation and issue of security equipment.

Exceptional customer service and a high degree of professionalism are essential, along with the adherence to our policies and procedures to ensure the safety of our employees and our clients.

To be successful as a Vault Operative with Loomis UK, you will need to work as part of a team.

An eye for detail and a “can do” attitude is a must, as well as the ability to operate within a secure working environment.
