What you will do:

- Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to determine needs, including in-depth analysis through Child in Need and Child Protection protocols.
- Expertly oversee a caseload of children requiring support plans, whether Child in Need, Child Protection, or Looked After Children.
- Apply your keen risk assessment skills to identify potential safeguarding issues, taking decisive action where necessary, including through Section 47 enquiries.
- Collaborate with families, carers, and a network of professionals from education, health, and law enforcement to deliver comprehensive support.
- Contribute effectively to child protection conferences, core groups, and, when needed, court proceedings.
- Craft compelling reports, ensuring all documents meet high standards for meetings and legal requirements.
- Maintain exemplary case records that are accurate, timely, and compliant with regulations.
