Civil Engineer, Maidstone

We are supporting a major infrastructure provider responsible for delivering critical water and wastewater projects. They are looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to contribute to a diverse programme of capital schemes.

Key Responsibilities of Civil Engineer:
Review and challenge project scopes to ensure solutions deliver the intended outcomes efficiently and effectively.
Provide technical input across capital schemes, including the preparation of design drawings, CDM documentation, and detailed specification packs.
Undertake technical assurance of designs and documentation produced by others.
Support and mentor junior engineers, graduates, and apprentices to help develop their technical capabilities.
Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to secure necessary approvals.
Conduct site visits, carrying out audits and offering guidance to delivery partners and contractors.
Requirements for Civil Engineer:
HNC, HND, or Degree in Civil Engineering (or closely related discipline).
Proven experience in a similar civil engineering role, with the ability to manage your own workload and deliverables.
Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and specifications.
Good working understanding of CDM Regulations 2015 and their application in project environments.
Experience across the design, construction, or maintenance of infrastructure and/or non-infrastructure assets, ideally within the utilities sector.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. xcswzye
