Supply Teacher (Key Stage 3-4), Witham

Full‑time Cover Supervisor role at a secondary school in Witham, Essex. School is rated GOOD by Ofsted and caters for students aged 11–16. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm. Pay is £90–120 per day, depending on experience.

• Deliver pre‑set lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Ensure students remain on task and complete assigned work.
• Provide support and guidance to students where required.
• Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
• Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team, teachers and support staff.

• Experience working with young people (school‑based or similar).
• Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills.
• Proactive, flexible, and positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Genuine interest in education and supporting student development.
• Enhanced DBS on the DBS Update Service.
