Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services) Our client is a highly reputable leading independent Building Services Consultancy. From their 3 regional offices they provide design consultancy services to a vast range of clients across the UK construction industry. The business has remained strong throughout this year and now they look to appoint a Senior Electrical Engineer into their head office in Manchester. The ideal applicant will be a high calibre engineer with a proven track record of design across a range of sectors including, Residential, Commercial, Education, Industrial and Healthcare. Qualifications: * A Degree/ Diploma in Electrical or Building Services Engineering or equivalent * Minimum of 5 years experience in the field of electrical engineering design. * Must be computer literate as appropriate to the role ? Minimum Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Hevacomp or similar design software. Experience in BIM/Revit desirable but not essential and training in all required software is available. Role: * All aspects of electrical services design including power supply, lighting, security systems, Utilities, Fire Protection and Controls. * Production of Stage 2, 3, 4 and 5 design documentation across a range of building types. * Working with our existing client base to deliver leading edge engineering design. * Site Inspections to monitor ongoing projects. * Survey of existing and new buildings. * Legislative compliance with regard to Energy, Ventilation and Fire, etc.. * Developing new opportunities with potential client and partner organisations.
