Leading Financial Services client are looking for a Senior Java Developer Senior Java Developer required for a leading financial services organisation based in Manchester who are seeing significant growth for their popular flag-ship product. As part of the role, you will be working across multiple phases of software development within a project or dealing with the most technically challenging assignments. You will translate business requirements into technical requirements, identifying any gaps and write code to specification for one or more applications / products during the build phase of the software development lifecycle. As a Senior Developer you will test the code thoroughly and liaise with business users to ensure delivery is appropriate for purpose and will develop a technical understanding of a component or sub-component within an application / product, providing support for technical queries, live incidents and problems Your main technical skills should include: * Java 1.6 - 11 * Oracle Database Management * Active MQ * Apache Camel * Sound technical architectural knowledge in relation to Micro Services. * Delivery and Continuous Improvement of a true Micro-Service system. * Use of Private BitBucket/Jira/Confluence Ideally you will have strong commercial experience in the tech stack above, be enthusiastic and keen to always develop and learn new skills.
