PROPERTY SURVEYOR Weybridge Salary £40,000 to £50,000 Depending on Experience SUMMARY OF ROLE: Our well established, highly respected client has an opportunity for a Commercial Property Management Surveyor, the successful applicant will join the existing surveyors in the commercial department dealing with the management of a diverse commercial property portfolio. The candidate must be MRICS qualified with 2-5 years PQE and ideally also be an RICS Registered Valuer. The successful candidate would be expected to get involved in all aspects of this busy department having close involvement with the existing Chartered Surveyors and Financial Controller. Candidates Duties Liaise with landlords and tenants in all aspects of property management Carry out property management inspections Manage service charges with associated budget/reconciliations Deal with landlord consents and agreement of licences for subletting, assignments or alterations Lease renewals (both inside and outside the Landlord and Tenant Act) Rent reviews Maintenance of landlord?s statutory obligations (gas safety inspections, Health & Safety, fire risk assessments etc) Other key areas of work including updating property databases, assisting with the disposal of properties and appointing and managing 3rd party solicitors and contractors Essential requirements MRICS qualified with 2-5 years PQE Practical and demonstrable experience of commercial property management Experience of managing third parties such as solicitors, professional advisors and contractors Experience of service charge management Excellent written and communication skills and ability to build relationships Proactive, organised and able to use your own initiative to prioritise workloads Ability to work in a team and support a common goal with strong interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook UK Driving Licence Please note if you have not been contacted by Plum Personnel within seven days then unfortunately on this occasion you have been unsuccessful.
