Assistant Production Planner (12 Month Fixed Term), Edenbridge

Production Planner position on offer with a rapidly expanding company that will give full industry training and ideally the chance for a permanent role after the initial period. Can you read engineering drawings and diagrams? Do you have experience in a Manufacturing environment? This company are a specialist manufacturer of sophisticated components. They have doubled in size over the past few years and are looking to continue growing into the future. The company are looking for someone who can pick up and work to a high quality standard. You will be assisting the Planning Engineer on the day to day, checking the availability of materials, handling work and purchase orders, working on the costing process and handling the planning of resources and production scheduling. The role will be a 12 month fixed term, but if you perform well there will be a strong chance of a permanent role at the end. The ideal candidate will have prior experience of a Production Planning role in an Aerospace manufacturing environment (This is not essential).
