Intermediate - Senior Electrical Enigneer, Basingstoke

An independent Energy and Building Services Engineering Design Consultancy who pride themselves on delivering challenging and interesting projects utilising cutting edge solutions, building strong client relationships and repeat business. They require an Intermediate / Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their Basingstoke office. Important - Must have a strong written and verbal communication skills, plus a good technical knowledge of Electrical Building Services and the design process in construction. This Intermediate / Senior Electrical Design Engineer will ideally educated to degree level in Building Services Engineering or equivalent with ambitions of working toward becoming a Chartered Engineer. With strong technical knowledge and experienced in the use of cable sizing and lighting design software packages. As the Intermediate / Senior Electrical Design Engineer you will be working on a variety of projects from our current portfolio and will work under the supervision of the project manager and the senior engineer(s) responsible for the particular project being undertaken. You should have previous design experience and will be using packages such as Amtech, Cymap and Dialux. Being the Intermediate / Senior Electrical Design Engineer will need to be able to work closely with clients, closely with clients, architects and other members of the professional team you will take an active role in establishing the brief of projects. The need is for an Intermediate / Senior Electrical Design Engineer who is an enthusiastic self-motivated person that can work on own initiative and seek assistance when required, organise and prioritise workload to ensure that timescales are met. Plus provide project support for varied project workload, developing and specifying applications of controls, instruments, and operating systems for all building engineering services purposes.
