Financial Accountant (FMCG) Mach Recruitment are delighted to be assisting our client, a leading food manufacture, with the recruitment of a Finance Administrator to work from their Leicester site. The purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to the Finance Team. You will be ultimately accountable for the balance sheet and therefore this is a doing? and ?reviewing? role, responsible for performing numerous tasks as listed below but also reviewing transaction postings by other members of the team. Day-to-day tasks include: * Ensuring all payroll-related and cash balance sheet items are reconciled weekly * All other balance sheet items reconciled monthly * Monthly audit files * Submitting VAT, PAYE and CT returns and paying taxes on time * Working with IT and Facilities to ensure the fixed asset register is up to date * Control budget spends * Ad hoc analysis About you Due to the breadth of the role, we are looking for someone with a strong accounting knowledge (double entry) * As such, you should be CIMA/ACCA qualified * Understanding of fast paced manufacturing processes * System 21, MS AX, Recipe Professor Experience * You will need to be able to demonstrate an ability to work fast and accurately whilst also having the self-discipline to manage your own workload with minimal supervision.
