Production Operative, Taunton

We're currently looking for a Warehouse/Production Operative to work for one of our clients in Taunton, Somerset. The role is joining an existing team who are growing and expanding. If you're switched on, eager to learn and want to be a part of a friendly team then this is the job for you. During the current situation, the hours may vary so you will need to be flexible, initially working on a rotating 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm shift but with some 8am - 4pm shifts as well. Your responsibilities will include: Counting and packing goods Labelling products Refilling liquid goods Operating machines Monitoring and reporting any faults Complying with Health and Safety Quality checks Maintaining production records Liaising with staff Keeping area clean and tidySuccessful candidates will need previous production and manufacturing experience. Existing or previous experience of using a Fork Lift will be beneficial or the willingness to train and obtain the licence after your probation period. You will also need to be able to work well in a team and to just in to help on a variety of tasks as required. The rate of pay starts with £8.72ph which will rise after the probation period to £9.87ph. An opportunity for a permanent position after successfully completing 12 weeks trial period for the right candidate.
