Class 2 Driver, Manchester

DBR Group, acting as an Employment Business, are recruiting Class 2 drivers for our client in Manchester. The role is based on a temporary assignment but will be continual throughout the year with shifts allocated a week in advance. We are looking for immediate starts for this position pending the completion of a security vetting process, which can take approximately 7 to 10 days along with the successful completion of a Driving assessment. You will be required to register with us remotely and complete a Driving assessment on site in the depot?s yard, prior to starting your first shift. This process fully adheres to social distancing measures set out by the Government. The Job Working for the UK?s most recognisable brand, as a Class 2 Driver you will be responsible for the safe and secure movement of the UK?s post. Predominantly trunking from depot to depot throughout the UK. The shifts are based on a seven-day operation and do include weekends. The Pay Based on PAYE (Drivers working via a Ltd Company are welcome and will receive an enhanced rate). The first 12 weeks: Days Nights STD £10.50 p/h £11.50 p/h OT £11.50 p/h £14.50 p/h SAT £11.50 p/h £11.50 p/h SUN & BH £14.50 p/h £14.50 p/h After 12 weeks: Days Nights STD £15.93 p/h £18.47 p/h OT £17.96 p/h £17.96 p/h All drivers are paid 1 week in arrears every Friday (Work this week, paid for it next week). What we require from you * Relevant Driving Licence and associated CPC and Digital Tacho card. * Previous experience as a Class 2 driver for a minimum 2 years. * Ideally a clean licence, however, up to 6 minor points will be considered. * Flexibility and commitment to our client.
