Compliance Monitoring Analyst, Lancashire

Compliance Monitoring Analyst - Based Lancashire Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience, plus a non-contributory pension and fantastic benefits and career development. As business continues to grow, so do the responsibilities of our internal compliance team, hence my client is now looking to recruit and additional Compliance Monitoring Analyst with experience of working within a highly regulated FCA environment. As a Compliance Monitoring Analyst, you will be a trusted business partner with the capacity to get things done, through persuasion, collaboration and effective communication, and be responsible for delivering monitoring reviews, as set out in the annual compliance monitoring plan. Candidate You will Ideally have at least 3 years compliance monitoring experience and conducted thematic reviews Able to work independently, with minimal supervision Able to prioritise & work to strict deadlines and with strong attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Good stakeholder management, at all levels Able to persuade, influence and problem solve Good numeric skills Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Fund operations (UCITS / AIFS) experience would be an advantage, but not essentialPersonal Qualities Work collaboratively as part of a team with a positive attitude Able to work under pressure Flexible and able to learn quickly Friendly, approachable, and highly resilient Ability to make a positive contribution to both the team and the Company with an interest in financial servicesDuties Able to prepare for a monitoring review by undertaking business intelligence, drafting a terms of reference and set a plan for delivery of the review. Independently carry out a monitoring reviews and undertake the fieldwork, recording evidence and reaching conclusions on the effectiveness of controls. Produce a monitoring review report, draft a report findings and conclusions, and agreeing management actions with the business. Able to track management actions to satisfactory conclusion. Promote a strong compliant culture within the business
