Lead UX Designer (with research) Abode, Agile, Multi-Platform Financial Software Manchester (Prime City Centre Offices) Commutable from Cheshire, Lancashire, North West £50,000 - £65,000 pa basic salary (depending on experience) + Great Benefits Established global Financial Analytics software vendor requires highly experienced UX Designer to assist with on going re-platform project for end users of a highly respected enterprise data management product for various high profile international customers from on prem to software to software as a service (SAAS) format. Applause IT are helping recruit this role as there is a major need to re-design the user interface and they need a talented UX designer to make the product more intuitive to the user. The Role: Meeting with internal and external customers to gather information about user interaction requirements Using your excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and clients to ensure that high quality end-user designs meet customer requirements Work in collaboration with other UX designers and product and development teams across multiple locations Creating and enhancing user personas, user journeys and application maps Propose and create mock-ups for visual concepts via wire-frames and prototypes using specialist tools Attend meetings to discuss and review progress on the project Required Skills and Experience: Proven commercial background in UX research and design work with Enterprise grade software systems Good experience in an agile product design environment including use of user journeys, personas etc Strong use of abode products including Balsamic, Axure, Sketch etc (Please send link to commercial portfolio of recent work along with CV) The Person: Excellent problem-solving skills To be a concept thinker with a keen visual awareness and willingness to learn a multitude use cases Knowledge of, coding and design principles Excellent written communication skills - both visual and verbal An open, flexible and adaptable mindset to cope with a rapidly changing set of tasks A willingness to keep up to date with software applications and new techniques in a rapidly changing profession Great benefits on offer including pension, health, bonus, extra leave for any CSR / Charity activity and more at this large progressive employer Please send CV Now and call Tim Morris on (phone number removed) to find out more UX Designer with User Research.
