Senior Building Control Surveyor, Greater Manchester

A prominent approved inspector are seeking a Senior Building Control Surveyor with varied commercial sector experience to join their team in Manchester. Desirable applicants will be chartered via RICS or CABE with a transferable client list. Starting salary of up to £50,000, company vehicle/ allowance and further benefits. Key clients include builders, developers and private clients within residential and commercial sectors. Senior Building Control Surveyor Responsibilities: To provide site inspections on a variety of developments to check for compliance with regulations and associated legislation Ongoing liaison with Surveyors and Management, along with Clients, Builders and Developers on technical matters to ensure that standards are being maintained and procedures adhered to Completing reports and documentation based on site findings Effectively self-managing workload by forward-planning, in order to provide a responsive, helpful and professional service and utilise time spent on siteSenior Building Control Surveyor Requirements: Previous/ current role involving Building Control inspection 5 years' relevant experience of both plan checking and site inspection, ideally with relevant warranty, quality or defect resolution experience Based in/able to cover Manchester area Up to date Building Regulations knowledge Able to assess both quality and the cause/effect of building defects Ideally operating at a senior level, a chartered member of RICS/CABE Full UK driving licenceSenior Building Control Surveyor - Benefits: Salary up to £50,000 per annum 29 Days' annual leave Car Allowance/ vehicle Pension scheme Professional fees paid Training and developmentWe aim to respond to suitable candidates within 5 working days.
