Software Developer As software developer and database administrator, you will work closely with colleagues from across the organisation to develop the vision and implement an agreed approach to be ready for further expansion. You will also support the development of existing and new applications for improving communication between its customers. Salary: ? Up to £42,000 per annum The successful candidate will report in to the Section Manager and work alongside a small team of Engineers. The Main Responsibilities of the position are; * To maintain and develop the company?s business software ? 3rd party and in-house developed bespoke systems. * To provide support to all departments with issues relating to business processes and systems. * To identify problems or areas for improvement and implement solutions. The successful candidate will have the following experience and kills: * Educated to Minimum HNC Level in an IT related discipline * Working knowledge of Infor XA software or equivalent ERP system. * Experience of RPG programming or Infor Systemlink. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. * Experience of IT in a Manufacturing environment Hours of work for the post is Monday-Thursday 7am ? 4pm and Friday 7am ? 12 noon based on a 39 hour working week
