Electrical Designer / Project Manager, Devizes

ELECTRICAL Designer / Project Manager Working for a highly successful and established company, and due to continuous growth we are now seeking an Electrical Designer / Project Manager for our growing Electrical business which includes Solar PV, Small Electrical Projects and Electrical Vehicle Charging points. There is a good basic salary and the opportunity to work overtime. Other benefits include share scheme, pension etc. Qualifications Required * Minimum NVQ 3 in Electrical Based Engineering * BTEC, HNC or HND in Electrical Based Engineering desirable * 18th Edition advantageous Role Specifications * Producing various drawings such as Electrical schematics, feeder pillar designs and EV Bay layouts, as built drawing an any CAD works required. * Basic Solar PV designs (Training provided) * Conducting technical site surveys (predominately the South but occasional travel throughout England) * Producing electrical design and pricing of projects * Liaison with the local network operators and completing submissions * Performing cable sizing calculations and generating results using Amtech * Managing the delivery of small EV domestic and commercial project The successful candidate will report to the Head of Sales and will be based from our Devizes Office. Duties include the production of electrical schematics, feeder Pillar designs, EV Bay Layouts, as built drawings and basic Solar designs (training provided). The role will also include conducting Technical Site surveys (mainly in the South, but occasionally throughout England) and production of a suitable electrical design (cable sizing calculations using Amtech), producing a customer quote through to liaising with local network operators and managing the delivery of small EV projects. This is a mixed role that includes design, project manager activities, pricing and technical site surveys and will suit an individual who does just want to sit behind a desk Applicants should have previous electrical design experience and a suitable qualification. Must have knowledge of Word, Excel, AutoCAD and MS Project is desirable. Additional on the job training supplemented with external training will be provided. Due to the nature of this role, you must have a full UK driving license.
